Sautéed Brussel Sprouts with Bacon & Onion Recipe – Delicious & Healthy

Ingredients;

-4 slices of bacon, chopped

-250g brussel sprouts, halved

-1 brown onion, chopped

-2 tbsp olive oil

-salt & pepper to taste

-1/3 cup walnuts, chopped

-1 tbsp honey

-1 tbsp dijon mustard

Method;

  1. In a frypan on low-medium heat, add a dash of olive oil and cook bacon then set aside.
  2. Add some more olive oil to the pan. Place in brussel sprouts and onion. Sauté until tender, it should take about 15 minutes.
  3. Season with salt & pepper. Add cooked bacon, walnuts, honey and mustard to the pan. Cook and toss to mix for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Serve on its own or use it as a side. Enjoy!
