
Ingredients;
-4 slices of bacon, chopped
-250g brussel sprouts, halved
-1 brown onion, chopped
-2 tbsp olive oil
-salt & pepper to taste
-1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
-1 tbsp honey
-1 tbsp dijon mustard
Method;
- In a frypan on low-medium heat, add a dash of olive oil and cook bacon then set aside.
- Add some more olive oil to the pan. Place in brussel sprouts and onion. Sauté until tender, it should take about 15 minutes.
- Season with salt & pepper. Add cooked bacon, walnuts, honey and mustard to the pan. Cook and toss to mix for 3-5 minutes.
- Serve on its own or use it as a side. Enjoy!
