Mocha Oatmeal – Full Of Flavour

Ingredients;

-1/3 cup of espresso strength coffee

-2 squares of 85% dark chocolate

-1 tbsp raw cocoa powder

-1 tsp honey

-1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

-2 tsp chia seeds

-1 cup of milk

-1 cup of water

-1 cup oats

-sprinkle of salt

Method;

  1. Place water, milk and salt into a saucepan and bring to the boil.
  2. Lower heat to low and add in oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, cocoa powder, honey and coffee.
  3. Stir continuously until it starts to thicken. Add in dark chocolate and stir until all melted through.
  4. Once oatmeal has reached you desired consistency, serve into two bowls. Enjoy as is or add your favourite toppings!
