
Ingredients;
Sauce:
will make enough for 3 pizzas
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4-1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4-1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp honey
Base:
will make one large pizza
- 1 cup wholemeal flour
- 3/4 cup low fat greek yoghurt
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
Method;
- Place all sauce ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Set aside.
- Place all base ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Stir until combine.
- Knead the dough until its well combined. Add a little extra flour if mixture seems to wet otherwise it will be impossible to work with.
- On a large sheet on baking paper, sprinkle some extra flour. Place dough onto paper. If you have a roller, roll mixture until even and thin. Add extra flour as you roll if needed or if it starts to get stuck to roller. If you don’t have a roller ( I didn’t’), use hands to flatten and spread dough into the desired shape.
- Once base is ready, add pizza sauce and desired toppings. Place in heated oven or weber and cook until crispy. Enjoy!
