Healthy Homemade Pizza Recipe – Simple & Tasty



will make enough for 3 pizzas

  • 1/2 cup tomato paste
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp honey


will make one large pizza

  • 1 cup wholemeal flour
  • 3/4 cup low fat greek yoghurt
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 tsp baking powder


  1. Place all sauce ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Set aside.
  2. Place all base ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Stir until combine.
  3. Knead the dough until its well combined. Add a little extra flour if mixture seems to wet otherwise it will be impossible to work with.
  4. On a large sheet on baking paper, sprinkle some extra flour. Place dough onto paper. If you have a roller, roll mixture until even and thin. Add extra flour as you roll if needed or if it starts to get stuck to roller. If you don’t have a roller ( I didn’t’), use hands to flatten and spread dough into the desired shape.
  5. Once base is ready, add pizza sauce and desired toppings. Place in heated oven or weber and cook until crispy. Enjoy!
